Evidence

The NIOSH Pocket Guide describes carbofuran as an odorless white or grayish crystalline insecticide solid and identifies inhalation, skin absorption, ingestion, skin, and eye contact routes; reported effects include cholinergic eye and autonomic symptoms, gastrointestinal effects, weakness, twitching, incoordination, and convulsions.
