Evidence

The NIOSH Pocket Guide describes hydrogen fluoride as a colorless gas or fuming liquid, sets a 3 ppm time-weighted-average REL and 6 ppm ceiling, and identifies hydrofluoric acid as an aqueous form requiring controls against inhalation and skin or eye exposure.
