Evidence

A NIOSH health-hazard evaluation identified resin-dust exposure among warehouse packagers, particularly when ventilation was not functioning properly. Measured dust levels were below the limits for nuisance dust, but NIOSH stated that it was not clear whether the resin dusts constituted a hazard; this workplace-specific report does not establish carcinogenicity or a specific disease effect.

Abstract · 1
The third problem involved resin dust exposures working as a packager in the warehouse, particularly when the ventilation system was not functioning properly. Even though the dust levels in this area were below the limits for a nuisance dust, it was not clear whether the resin dusts would constitute a hazard.
