Evidence

A NIOSH evaluation of a polyvinyl-chloride film operation examined resin handling and vinyl-chloride monomer exposure; no detectable vinyl-chloride monomer was found in the sampled work areas, and the manual charging ports had local exhaust ventilation. The report does not establish a PVC-resin dust disease effect.
