The NIOSH Pocket Guide lists inhalation, ingestion, skin, and eye contact routes for tellurium and reports garlic breath, sweating, dry mouth, metallic taste, drowsiness, anorexia, nausea, dermatitis, and animal central-nervous-system and red-blood-cell changes; target organs are skin, central nervous system, and blood.
